My client who is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne are currently recruiting for a SMART Repair Technician to work at their bodyshop.

Role:
This excellent opportunity is with a reputable accident repair centre who have a long history of providing an enviable level of service to their customer base for many years. They are looking for someone with a very good eye for detail, someone who will only let a customer have their treasured vehicle back when it is immaculate.

This SMART Repair Technician position will involve preparing vehicles, Stripping, Fitting and working in the Bodyshop to ensure vehicles are delivered in a pristine condition so any work undertaken must be done to a very high standard.

You will therefore be required to have a good all round knowledge of SMART Repair from alloy repair, upholstery, repair to dents, scratches and paint repairs.

Experience required:
– Ideally you will have experience working as a SMART repairer though we will look at someone from a Bodyshop background, Paint Technician OR Panel Beater who can switch disciplines

Kinetic Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Technician for an established manufacturing company with operations worldwide.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Electrical Technician will investigate and carry out breakdown repairs and routine maintenance in all areas of the plant. Ensuring plant and machinery across the site are available and reliable by proactively seeking to reduce plant downtime.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of PLC’s and have the ability to fault find with basic knowledge of programming.
Set up and adjust machines, processes and equipment using SMED.
Fit and assemble parts, tools and sub-assemblies, including welding.
Dismantle faulty equipment and assemblies and repair or replace defective parts.
Working within preventative maintenance schedules to keep the plant running effectively.

Qualifications;
Educated to City & Guilds level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
