Our client is an estate of 3 luxury boutique properties or Red Star Standard.

The role will involve working as part of the reservations team to assist queries and bookings across the estate for both rooms and restaurant. The role is a based on a 40 hour week across 5 days including days and evenings. Previous experience working at high volume level is essential. Previous experience working at Red Star level and with Opera would be preferential.

Candidates that have previously worked within Reception will also be considered.

Red Eagle (AGY) are looking for an experienced Chef to join their client based in Dover on a permanent basis.

This role will be based on a 42 hour week over a 7 day operation working a split shift.

About the Role:
Operate your own shift service with food preparation and the cooking of meals to order
Operate effective café opening and closing procedures and practices
Overall responsibility for the restaurant and kitchen during your service shift
Assist with menu planning, scheduling and preparation of daily special dishes
Participate in the effective monitoring of stock levels and ordering processes, using relevant and authorised suppliers
Monitor supplier performance
Promote the café with excellent customer service and quality cooking
Consider further areas for increasing sales and actively encourage up selling
Assist the catering assistants with training and development
Ensure that the café is run in a professional manner whilst maintaining a friendly atmosphere

About You:

Restaurant Manager

We are looking to recruit an experienced Restaurant Manager for our clients stunningly situated restaurant in Deal.

As the restaurant manager you will require to:


Plan and recruit and train front of house staff and monitor, with the Head Chef, the back of house team.

Manage rotas and all health and safety procedures for staff and guests alike.

Manage all takings and daily banking. Work with Directors on all marketing and promotional activities.

Create and execute plans for staff development. Meet with Directors and Chef to plan and coordinate new menus.

Meet and greet customers, organising tables reservations and be able to offer advice about menus and wine choices. Maintain high standards of quality control. Accept responsibility of working closely with Head Chef to achieve high standards and good profitability.

Take responsibility for all licensing matters and ensure that stock levels are adequate at all times.

This position will be working 45 hours per week to include evenings and weekends
