This is a varied role for a talented Test Analyst, to encompass both Project & BAU Software Test work, which will be utilised throughout the business. You will be working in unison with the project and team managers, as well as the software developers and testers, in writing software test plans for each of the work streams, prioritising workloads and carrying out manual testing- recording and raising defects. You will need transferable knowledge across all departments and be able to advocate new test technologies.

Essential Experience:
– Minimum 3 years commercial testing
– Proven test design techniques
– Track record managing & delivering complex IT developments

The Role:
This is a 360 role, so will involve all aspects of the Recruitment Consultant role. This role requires the development of a portfolio of clients in the local area to achieve the business and financial objectives of the company who trade in the hire and supply of staffing services to general business in the Industrial sector.

The role is mainly sales based, whereby contact is made with local businesses to supply the recruitment services of the company. The role requires a person who is competent in conducting both telephone and personal visit contact with such businesses, together with the ability to conduct interviews with prospective candidates for permanent positions (if necessary) and that can be supplied through the employment service products through the company.

The main elements and tasks of this position are as follows:

LAMP Developer

We are looking for a talented team player (with skills akin to a Front End Developer) to build groundbreaking personalised video services. Youll be joining one of the fastest growing and most innovative online video companies in the world, based out of Ipswich office. If you have a passion for Front End Development, video and digital media and keen to work with a dedicated team, within an environment very much like a start­up, yet with the securities and resources only available within a large global organisation.

Youll work closely with our creative teams to produce personalized interactive video demonstrations, taking designs and concepts and implementing these in the front­end. Not only will you have an appreciation of good practice and web capabilities, but youll have an interest in video ­ important because you will be instrumental in building personalized video projects for our clients within our proprietary web­based video assembly tool. Youll understand fonts on the web, web standards, capabilities and be able to make things happen!

You will:
­ Work with HTML, JavaScript and CSS to create interface pages, campaign landing pages, responsive video player builds and other custom front­end elements working with our design teams.
­ Be able to spot good and bad creative implementation, working from designs with pixel perfect attention to detail.
­ Understand best practice, browser compatibility and the latest trends.
­ Setup and monitor reporting systems.
­ Implement data interfaces and perhaps API integration (from time to time).
­ Provision client platform infrastructure (In line with our guidelines).

­ Experience building web sites (combination of technical and creative skills). Comfortable with web front­end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS (including jQuery, jQueryUI. Basic Photoshop, Illustrator.
­ Able to identify errors in video such as jump­cuts or missing audio and be able to advise on or devise possible solutions. Able to accurately follow the creative guidance provided as to text sizes / fonts / colours / positions have an eye for detail!
­ Good communicator, planner, self­starter, etc. to be able to manage the relationship and deliver well. Be able to study a script and transfer narrative logic to conditional logic, and structure the data dictionary to support both the interface and narrative requirements.
­ Appreciate a projects creative style and follow it when adding creative elements such as dynamic text, images and functionality.
­ Technical authoring and user instruction documentation skills in order to handover projects to clients and other team members.

­ Experience of online video production.
­ Experience with Amazon hosting and cloud server platforms.
