-They require staff to work on their shop floor, working in production making beds, furniture and mattresses or carrying out general labouring duties (loading and unloading lorries, cleaning the shop floor and moving products.)
-Production / manufacturing experience is preferred, but the successful candidate will be hard working, reliable and keen to gain a permanent job.
-Shifts are 07:15-16:15 Monday-Thursday with a 12:15 finish on a Friday, however there is plenty of overtime available which is 6am-6pm at a premium rate so it is essential that you’re flexible.

We are looking to recruit a Parts controller to establish Raw Material (finished goods) requirements based on inventory stock levels and customer orders. To lead the change control and ensure changes are implemented efficiently across all levels of the business.
In this varied position, your main accountabilities will be:
Develop long term partnerships with suppliers.
Ensure that materials are procured in a timely manner to achieve all production requirements.
All supplier schedules are raised and issued to suppliers to agreed timescales.
Constant review of suppliers adherence to schedules.
All shortages expedited effectively
Ensure we achieve the agreed stock value levels.
The strategy will be to constantly review and implement stock reduction program.
Identify areas of improved control and value analysis to identify inventory value reduction.
To investigate value-mapping process to reduce cost.
To establish stock policy.
Control design changes with effective run in / out plans.
Manage third party warehousing costs.
To work with all levels and establish a robust and clear working system to achieve inventory objectives.
To develop and establish training requirements if required.
To effectively manage personnel issues.
To constantly look at ways and methods to improve cost.
This will be extended to storage, transport and handling.
To achieve KPI target
You will be required to provide management report to strict deadlines
PI Inventory Control
Control of the PI program and issue of PI schedules to Warehouse operational staff.
Improvements activities generated from PI program, and external audit verification process.
Management of the change control process, from generation to warehouse stock control and product life cycle
The successful candidate will have excellent organisation, planning and computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Salary dependent on experience and qualifications
6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
