As an Inspector, you will be able to inspect all component goods arriving into the company; inspect assemblies and final goods to go out of the company.

Main duties include:

* To inspect goods against Parkeon drawings; mechanical items, plastic moldings.

* Inspection of finished goods produced by Parkeon including 1st off and patrol inspection.
* Inspect all suppliers parts/goods delivered to main store.
* Carry out inspection on production sub-assemblies.
* Update quality records to confirm acceptability.
* Organise the return of rejected goods back to suppliers supported by technical justification.
* Inspect supplier first-off samples for approval.
* Keep and update records for quarantine store.
* Daily update of records used for supplier/production performance/reject rates.
* Liaison with Suppliers and other Departments to clarify and resolve issues as they arise, either by telephone, face to face meetings or email.
* Carry out final inspection duties of completed assemblies.

Due to a recent contract win, they are urgently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to come in and take ownership of the day to day running of a large commerical office building in London Bridge. This role will carry the reasonability of daily communication with the client, taking ownership of plant rooms, log books and the general day to day maintenance of the building. * Experience of Planned & Reactive Works across various building services and electrical plant such as:
* Mechanical servicing of Cooling Towers, Water Treatment, AHUs, FCU, Pumps, Motors, Plumbing including basic fabric & electrical duties.

* Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities

A great opportunity for an Intermediate / Senior Building Services Mechanical Design Engineer to work in a division of multi – diciplinary company in their Watford office.

As a member of the design team you will provide Mechanical Engineering design for a variety of projects across sectors such as residential, mixed use developments, Commercial, Public Sector, Transportation and Education.

As an experienced Building Services Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be able to produce feasibility assessments, outline and scheme design and final fully coordinated detailed design, including production of Tender documentation.

The successful candidate will also be experience with construction phase monitoring, commissioning and site inspection and contractor liaison to ensure compliance and good workmanship is delivered to the specification standards.

Ideal candidate experience/ qualifications

* A degree or HND in building services / mechanical engineering
* UK experience, post education
* Dynamic individual who can self-manage, lead the project from a discipline perspective and work to deadlines
* Be able to review and analyse thermal model outputs and other individuals design calculations/ design proposals for regulatory compliance and general checking for correctness.
* Work within a multi discipline design team in an collaborative manner ensuring effective working relationships are fostered which will influence the performance of the team and the success of the project
* Be Client facing and report to senior management when issues arise

An advantage but not critical to the position, the successful Intermediate / Senior Building Services Design Engineer will have good experience working with Building Services design tools such as HEVACOMP, IES, Revit and AutoCAD and be familiar will all current design guidance and regulatory standards and be able to apply these to the design solutions.

* Working hours 37.5 hrs per week, with flexible working hours.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will join a small team of 4 working on a mix of activities, ranging from care and maintenance of existing product lines to design of new and innovative systems. In addition to the design of complex electro-mechanical systems, you will be provided with the opportunity to work on the design of injection moulded consumable plastics that is used in their machines.
