Shifts available between 6am and 8pm. 40 Hour Week

£8.50 per hour.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Operative to be based with our client in Highbridge. Our client is looking for someone with existing knowledge of a busy warehouse environment, ability to follow written and verbal instructions with basic PC literacy and numeracy.

Duties and responsibilities to include;

– Ability to communicate with team members and work on own initiative to ensure the schedule order is met.
– Receive, pick and issue of stock to meet contract needs.
– Monitoring stock levels on a daily basis and feeding relevant information directly to the purchasing manager.
– Compliance to all Health and Safety and PPE requirements at all times.
– Accurate maintenance of stock inventory.

A current Forklift licence holder would be desirable but training is available for the right candidate.

Our client, a large manufacturing firm based in Herne Bay, is currently looking to recruit a Production Operative to work on an ongoing temporary basis.

The successful applicant will be working in the various stages of the manufacture and assembly process.

Working 7am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday, this role will be paying a rate of £7.50 per hour.

Access to a car is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manufacturing products to specification in a production line environment.
* Working to delivery plans and hitting personal and team targets.
* Consistent delivery of product against Quality Control requirements.
* Warehouse duties including unloading of deliveries.

Person Specification

* Previous experience of working on a manufacturing/production line.
* Enthusiastic with a strong desire to learn and improve.
* Adaptable to change, the ability to listen and follow instruction also use their own initiative when needed.
* A strong team player.
