PART TIME (3 days) – Call Centre Customer Service Sales Exec

An exciting role for an ambitious, enthusiastic customer service / sales executive to cover a 12 month maternity contract, starting ASAP.

The role is 15 hours over THREE days only

You will speak confidently over the telephone and enjoy both sales and account management experience with new and existing clients. You will be familiar with CRM systems (databases) and happy to work towards KPI’s / targets

If you have excellent customer service and outbound calling experience, you are an Italian speaker who also speaks French and /or Spanish in addition to English please apply!

The Role:

* Sales and engagement calls to new, existing and prospective members
* Meeting and exceeding all personal sales and engagement targets set
* Provide a high calibre of sales and customer service assistance, handling both inbound and outbound telephone calls and email support
* Ensure that all queries are dealt with within agreed response times to a high quality standard and provide support to other members of the team.
* Liaising with other departments internally to support project work where necessary
* The creation of relevant email communications required to engage target suppliers
* Feedback to customer project restraints etc. at regular intervals as set out in project plan

Requirements (ideally but not essential):

Confident in IT Systems in particular, proficient in all Microsoft Office packages and experience using CRM systems

* Experience working in different Internet browsers
* Professional, with efficient telephone manner

* A diplomatic nature (patient but assertive)
* Proactive and enthusiastic individual who is comfortable with working in a small business environment where flexibility is required

Sales Engineer

Technical Sales Engineer
This well-established and award winning engineering company, has a great opportunity for a high-calibre technical Engineer to join their professional and friendly sales engineering team.
You will be involved in business development and sales activity to the aerospace, marine and associated markets.
The sales team plays a pivotal technical and commercial role within the company,(as this is very much a hands-on role), and as such, does not operate as other sales environments with a base and OTE. They are very much looking for a more of a team-based technical sales engineer, with sound, practical mechanical engineering experience, more importantly than sales, (although previous sales engineering experience would be highly desirable).
Your role will include:
Identifying and developing new business and convert these into orders, which will include regular client visits, (on average half the week out on the road and UK-based with potential for overseas in time).
Carrying out product selection and analysis using analysis software.
Preparing technical and commercial proposals, budgets and competitor market information.
Negotiating technical and commercial contracts.
Take a hands-on role in product design and development.
Identifying and project managing new products and applications.
Whilst having a degree-qualified Mechanical engineer with experience in selling to the aerospace/defence or marine markets would be nice, a qualified and capable engineer, with good people skills, an eye for detail and be comfortable meeting new people and developing relationships within a technical and commercial environment- this could be an applications engineer/product support engineer or similar looking for a rounded role in sales.
A clean, UK valid driving licence, and PC literacy are essential.

Processing orders from customers

This would include adding orders received to SAGE sales ledger
Placing orders with manufacturers as required in order to meet the customer’s needs & co-operate with the Company Administrator to monitor regular stock levels and requirements
Close off completed sales opportunities within the ACT database and add information to quotation tracking sheets
Communicate with the customer to acknowledge their order, and update them on the progress / anticipated lead time for goods
Produce pro-forma invoices when required and follow the order through the sales process
Packing and shipping completed orders to UK/Worldwide locations
Invoicing completed orders and sending to customers
Assist with phones and greeting visitors to site

General Admin Support Including: Produce quotations for the sales team when required

This would include raising the document through the ACT database and checking all necessary pricing before issuing to the customer.
Recording the sales opportunity within the ACT database accurately
Completing the appropriate quotation tracking sheet
Issue quotation to the customer directly/send to sales person as required

Marketing and Design

Help with social media
Website updates
Helping the sales team with literature
